2010 Brings a Summer Of  New Events To East Petersburg!

The East Petersburg Events Committee is proud to announce that 2010 will be the best year ever for fun, local events beginning on May 1st with the first annual "Spring Kickoff Car Cruise" in partnership with the Vagabonds Car Club of Lancaster.  Expect over 500 show cars packed onto the East Petersburg Community Park grounds with lots of food, prizes and awards!

Also kicking off on May 1st will be our all-new "Saturday Music In The Park" series, with local bands performing at the pavilion in the Community Park into the evenings.

The East Petersburg Events Committee announces a new “First Saturday Market” running this June through October.  The market will be outdoors at the East Petersburg Park facility and run from 8am to 12pm.  First event will be Saturday, June 5th.  Local food, craft, art and business vendors are encouraged to inquire.  Download a registration flyer here.

This year, look for a new-and-improved "East Pete At The Barnstormers" evening during the summer break. 

As always, the third saturday of September is our annual celebration of all things East Pete - mark your calendars!  East Petersburg Day 2010 is already shaping up to top even our incredibly successful 2009 shindig.

Walking Tour of Historic East Petersburg

The Walking Tour book, a joint effort between the East Petersburg Day committee and the local Historic Society, takes readers on a 45 minute stroll around the center of town and through 200 years of Petersburg history.  The Tour books are available at the East Petersburg Historical Society booth with a price of $7.00.
